Yeah, but anyway you may use a dummy for some poses (i was never able to anything with that stupid doll. But it might work for other people)

I usually will google a picture of the pose and use that as a model...i should get a plain non genderized wooden model ive seen at an art store once to help with poses

I recommend a fully articulated toy or action figure, since the dummies are not very articulated and the poses you do with them tend to look a bit dull.
